When two commercial filmmakers decided they wanted to tell a story in 90 minutes instead of half a minute, what came out was a documentary about the cigar industry. Jesse Mariut and Steve Gherebean are both cigar passionados and they worked on\u00a0Hand Rolled: A Film about Cigars\u00a0<\/em>for three years.<\/p>\n One of the producers of the documentary is Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigars. \u201cThe story of our industry needs to be told,\u201d he tells us. \u201cThere\u2019s never been a documentary that really describes the many different dynamics that go into a premium cigar and tells all the heart-warming stories of the manufacturers.\u201d<\/p>\n Besides Johnson himself, the documentary also features cigar makers like Orlando and Jorge Padr\u00f3n, Rocky Patel, Jos\u00e9 \u201cDon Pep\u00edn\u201d Garc\u00eda, and Nestor Andres Plasencia.<\/p>\n
