{"id":50492,"date":"2022-04-29T11:31:10","date_gmt":"2022-04-29T09:31:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=50492"},"modified":"2022-04-30T10:35:17","modified_gmt":"2022-04-30T08:35:17","slug":"smoke-at-the-creek-cigar-festival-returns-in-2022-august-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/smoke-at-the-creek-cigar-festival-returns-in-2022-august-in\/","title":{"rendered":"Smoke At The Creek Cigar Festival Returns in 2022 | August (IN)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The boutique cigar festival Smoke At The Creek is returning in 2022 after the success of the inaugural event in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by the Boutique Cigar Association of America (BCAA), the event from 12-13 August at Cedar Creek Winery, Distillery, and Brewery in Martinsville Indiana, USA, will bring together over 30 boutique cigar manufacturers for an outdoor event complete with VIP welcome night, live music, wine, bourbon, and rum tastings, and of course plenty of cigars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast years\u2019 festival consisted of 20 vendors, and nearly 750 attendees,\u201d said Dr Gaby Kafie, founder of the BCAA. \u201cThis year we\u2019re expanding to 40 vendors and are anticipating we will exceed last years\u2019 attendance with Covid regulations reduced further. \u00a0Our 2nd Annual Festival will be truly special as the BCAA has partnered with Cedar Creek\u00a0Distillery to release an exclusive event only Small Batch Bourbon. \u00a0Those in attendance will be able to acquire a bottle. \u00a0Last but not least, everyone should know that vendor booths have already sold out. We are so excited for what we are building as a community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The BCAA has appointed a Board of Directors comprised of 7 individuals, as well as a Festival Committee consisting of nearly 12 people. \u00a0Armen Caprielian of DAV Cigars, who has led the BCAA as President since December 2020, works with the Board and Committee who together donate their resources, time, and energy to shed light on small, family-owned, premium cigar companies and brands.
