Newman at the 75th Annual Ybor City Fiesta Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ybor City Chamber\u2019s Fiesta Day is a family-friendly, FREE \u201cstreet festival\u201d celebration commemorating the Cuban, Italian, Spanish, Jewish and German immigrants that settled in Ybor City in the late 1800\u2019s as the cigar factories thrived. Fiesta Day attracts families and people of all ages.<\/p>\n<p>The event originally started as a \u201cverbena\u201d or day of rest for the cigar workers who settled in Ybor City\u2019s \u201cCigar Capital of the World\u201d from Spain, Cuba, Germany and Italy. It now attracts thousands of passionate people to the festival\u2019s exquisite ethnic food and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Fiesta Day is the only event which closes Ybor City\u2019s famed \u201cLa Septima\u201d or 7th Avenue to traffic allowing pedestrians to explore the historic streets freely.<\/p>\n<p>Join J.C.
