Melillo chose the name in honor of his love of Nicaragua and its people. In 2020, Foundation released a 5<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary edition of the El G\u00fceg\u00fcense with a slightly tweaked blend \u2013 and JR Cigar\u2019s 50<sup>th<\/sup> Collector\u2019s Edition is based on that special blend.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is an incredible honor to work with JR Cigar on this project and to bring a touch of Foundation Cigars to the 50<sup>th<\/sup> Celebration,\u201d Melillo said. \u201cEl G\u00fceg\u00fcense was our first release and will always hold a special place in my heart, and seeing as how we just released a special 5<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary edition, I thought it would be perfect to turn this tweaked blend into something special for JR Cigar. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>Hand crafted in Nicaragua at the TABSA factory, the <strong><em>El\u00a0G\u00fceg\u00fcense JR 50th <\/em><\/strong>uses aged Corojo \u201899 and Criollo \u201899 filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. The binder is a Mexican San Andr\u00e9s leaf that is in a Corojo \u201899 wrapper from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua.<\/p>\n<p>This cigar is offered in a custom 10-count box with a beautiful art piece on the inside cover. The artwork was designed by Melillo and Foundation Art Director Alex Garcia.
