\u00a0America’s oldest, family-owned, premium cigar manufacturer,\u00a0J.C. Newman Cigar Company will celebrate several May milestones with one celebration called | MKay 15, 2021’Founder’s Day‘\u00a0with local food and coffee vendors, live entertainment, tours, and games on Saturday, May 15. This is a family-friendly event.

What:<\/strong>\u00a0Founder’s Day Celebration
When:\u00a0<\/strong>Saturday, May 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where:<\/strong>\u00a0J.C. Newman\u2019s El Reloj Cigar Factory,\u00a02701 N. 16th Street, Tampa, FL 33605<\/p>\n

The normal hours at J.C. Newman Cigar Co. are Monday \u2013 Friday, 9 a.m. \u2013 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

This event – held on a Saturday\u00a0– will\u00a0give the public an opportunity to see the recently completed factory restoration project and experience the history of cigar city while celebrating other milestones.<\/p>\n

May 5\u00a0is the day J.C. Newman Cigar Co. was founded, and May 26\u00a0is Julius Caeser \u201cJ.C.\u201d Newman\u2019s birthday. Founder’s Day is a combined celebration of these dates.<\/p>\n

Food will be available from food trucks\u00a0Calicatessen<\/a>,\u00a0Street Surfer<\/a>,\u00a0Kona Ice<\/a>, and\u00a0Commune and Co. Coffee<\/a>. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase and poured by\u00a0Spunky Spirits<\/a>. Live entertainment will be provided by Shawn Kyle.<\/p>\n

To be mindful of COVID-19, the tours will be for up to ten guests only.\u00a0To ensure a\u00a0space is available, we encourage you to book online ahead of time.\u00a0Tours can be booked at the following link:\u00a0https:\/\/www.jcnewman.com\/visit-us\/<\/a><\/p>\n

The museum is free and will be open to the public for exploring for the entirety of the day, but we do ask that if you purchase a cigar, you smoke it outside on one of our available tables \u2013 ashtrays will be provided! Be sure you are following us on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0to get 10% off your purchase in our museum and factory store.<\/p>\n
