{"id":39501,"date":"2021-04-15T10:13:35","date_gmt":"2021-04-15T08:13:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=39501"},"modified":"2021-09-24T15:17:36","modified_gmt":"2021-09-24T13:17:36","slug":"ferio-tego-signs-distribution-deal-with-davidoff-usa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/ferio-tego-signs-distribution-deal-with-davidoff-usa\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferio Tego signs distribution deal with Davidoff USA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ferio Tego, LLC, has entered into an agreement with Davidoff of Geneva USA, for the distribution of Ferio Tego\u2019s portfolio of products in the United States and its territories.\u00a0 The agreement is effective immediately.\u00a0 Ferio Tego\u2019s premium cigar products are currently in production, post-production and aging.\u00a0 The companies expect to begin shipping products this summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ferio Tego, LLC, which was formed earlier this year by two former Nat Sherman Executives, acquired the brands formerly owned and distributed by Nat Sherman International, LLC and their respective intellectual property.\u00a0 The brands include Timeless, Metropolitan and Ancora among others.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Michael Herklots, Principal and co-Managing Member of Ferio Tego said, \u201cThis is quite a proud moment; one of excitement and exhilaration but also one of profound gratitude and appreciation.\u00a0\u00a0 Reflecting over the last year, our lives have been disrupted in unimaginable ways, and yet through all of the tumult, here we are with renewed energy and new opportunities, not only to launch a new brand and company in Ferio Tego, but to also restore and preserve the legacy of Timeless and Metropolitan, which we worked for so long to build.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Timeless Collection, Herklots\u2019 first blend contribution after joining Nat Sherman International from Davidoff of Geneva in 2011, is the company\u2019s most award-winning brand, made up of the Sterling, Panamericana, Prestige and Supreme lines.\u00a0 The Metropolitan Selection features the company\u2019s most tenured and time-honored brands.\u00a0 The Metropolitan Host launched in 1994, followed by Metropolitan Connecticut and Metropolitan Maduro in 1995.\u00a0 Metropolitan Host Maduro and Metropolitan Habano were released later.<\/p>\n<p>Brendon Scott, Principal and co-Managing Member of Ferio Tego said, \u201cWe are excited about the future of Ferio Tego and our partnership with Davidoff of Geneva, USA.\u00a0 We are working hard with the Davidoff team and our other manufacturing partners to continue the heritage of quality and consistency of our brands and bring them back into the humidors of retailers and consumers as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpeaking on behalf of the entire Davidoff of Geneva team, we are excited to begin this journey with Michael and Brendon, along with our trusted business partners in building the Ferio Tego brand in the United States.
