{"id":39361,"date":"2021-04-01T10:36:43","date_gmt":"2021-04-01T08:36:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=39361"},"modified":"2021-04-01T10:36:43","modified_gmt":"2021-04-01T08:36:43","slug":"dav-cigars-expands-into-middle-east","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/dav-cigars-expands-into-middle-east\/","title":{"rendered":"DAV Cigars Expands into Middle East"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DAV Cigars, a brand bringing two New York cigar lovers and a Dominican Republic-based cigar-maker, is expanding into the Middle East through their Bahrain distributor Fazco.<\/p>\n<p>Established by life-long friends Armen Caprielian and Valot \u201cVal\u201d Atakhanian together with Santiago-based master blender Pedro \u201cTico\u201d Ram\u00f3n Fermin, DAV Cigars have been on the American market for three years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are expanding throughout the Middle East in leaps and bounds thanks to our amazing distributor Fazco in Bahrain,\u201d said co-founder Armen Caprielian. \u201cWe are also expanding in the Caucasus region including Armenia, Georgia, and Russia.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As well as the Middle East, the brand is pushing further into the US market and will soon be listed on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boutiquesmoke.com\/\">www.boutiquesmoke.com<\/a> online shop recently established by Dr Gaby Kafie, CEO of Kafie 1901 Cigars. The brand\u2019s founders are looking to hit the European market and are ready to go post Covid-19 lockdowns.<\/p>\n<p>Fate would strike Armen and Val when they discussed the cigar industry, and the conversation became the catalyst for the DAV Cigars venture.
