Smoke Cigar Cafe | Cigar Friendly, Florida

Head North on Alt-US19 in Pinellas County, Florida and you will pass through the tiny downtown of Palm Harbor. Just past the downtown area on the inland side of the road is Holy Smoke Cigar Cafe. This cigar lounge has existed for many years, but never has it seen the life that it has now under the ownership of Mark Haney, who has given the place a new vibe that is sure to please any patron who walks through the door. Go into the humidor and pick out a fresh cigar and ask Mark to make you a righteous cup of coffee and join the banter among those in the lounge and at the bar.

During the beautiful months of winter and spring in Florida, the front and back doors are usually open to provide a natural breeze that also acts like a smoke filtration, or even removal, system. There are several tvs hung high on the walls for sporting events, but they are usually used to supply the lounge with some mellow, serene music to set the ambiance of the place. New seating has replaced the old seating to offer a very comfortable lounge in which to sit and relax and enjoy a cigar from the well-stocked, boutique humidor.

Yes, the humidor definitely favors the boutique cigar industry. And usually there is a revolving assortment of hard to find cigars in the room. If there is a rare boutique that you have frequently seen on line or in social media, chances are that Mark has it in the humidor. If he doesn’t have it at present time, he is working on it.

Also, Holy Smoke is a bring your own beverage establishment. No alcohol is served at the bar, but you are welcome to bring your own, and on Whiskey Wednesday, it is even encouraged. So bring your libations and enjoy a boutique smoke right by the Pinellas Trail in beautiful Palm Harbor. A suggestion is bringing your bike or renting one and doing a nice long ride on the trail and then finishing up at Holy Smoke for a drink and a cigar. Or you can skip the first part and just go right to the second.

Holy Smoke Cigar Cafe

1470
