The new 1,070 sq.ft store and lounge on the mezzanine floor of the historical building in Kowloon is 76% bigger than the original ground floor location and is complete with a larger cigar lounge which can accommodate 20 guests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to expand our first Davidoff location in Asia and introduce our new retail and lounge concept for the first time in Hong Kong. This cigar boutique preserves the company\u2019s history and continues our mission to delight and surprise our customers worldwide by delivering unique brands and unrivalled retail experiences,\u201d said Laurent de Rougemont, Managing Director of Davidoff Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Designed in accordance with the globally-standardized &#8222;Davidoff of Geneva \u2013 since 1911&#8220; retail concept, the new store resembles a cigar box \u2013 stylishly elegant, contemporary, and warm, with interior design combining lush woods with natural materials in earthy tones reminiscent of the colour of cigars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis enlarged new flagship store continues the Davidoff legacy of an inspiring place where aficionados can find exceptionally crafted cigars and limited editions from different regions, including the wide range of rare and vintage spirits, said Simon Yeung, Davidoff\u2019s Area Shop Manager. Simon and his staff warmly welcome every guest \u201cto enjoy Davidoff cigars and share wonderful moments of life together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate, a commemorative cigar is being launched with a second ring label marked \u2018PENINSULA 2020\u2019. The cigar is a special edition of just 300 sticks of Davidoff Aniversario No.3 \u2013 One of the most popular Toro format cigars.
