What is considered to be the slowest race on earth is a slow smoking contest, established 10 years ago by Mr. Marko Bilic, president of the Mareva Cigar Club in Split.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">The goal of the contest is to smoke a Mareva sized cigar (<\/span><span class=\"s3\">5 1\/8\u201c x 42 | 130 x 16,7mm) in the longest possible time without relighting it. National champions and contestants from more than two dozen countries are in Split to win the race against the clock. This year\u2019s winner will be awarded an <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Haute Creation lighter vom S.T. Dupont worth around US$ 20,000.00, among other great prizes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This year\u2019s tournament will start at 5pm on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
