Cuervo y Sobrinos, the brand with Cuban roots has created three versions of the Esplendidos watch collection exclusively for the Cigar Smoking Word Champion (CSWC). Inspired by the Art Deco style, it combines a fantastic heritage with timeless classicism with its typical 1950\u2019s design.<\/p>\n

One model is designated to the World Champion, the winner at the Grand Final in Split (30. August 2019). This watch is a unique piece with a cream\/champagne face.<\/p>\n

The second, with an elegant silver dial, is for the winner of the main international qualification tournament (one country, one winner).<\/p>\n

And lastly Cuervo y Sobrinos has created a Limited Edition for cigar enthusiasts with a typical tobacco dial color: an edition of only 80 pieces that is available at all CSWS events worldwide (the Esplendidos CSWC can also be ordered directly at the Cuervo y Sobrinos factory in Le Noirmont, Swiss Jura and is also available without the CSWC logo).<\/p>\n

The Esplendidos CSWC special edition range mirrors the competition spirit and presents following unique features: a background that reproduces the typical tobacco leaf design, the dial applied indices are shaped like cigars and the CSWS logo can be seen at the bottom of the dial. On top, the case back of the Esplendidos has a charming art deco engraving that is inspired by the interior of the original safe of the Cuervo y Sobrinos boutique in 1882. This safe can be seen in our Museum-boutique that is located in the heart of La Habana. Lastly, but not least, each timepiece comes in a beautiful humidor just to underline Cuervo\u2019s intense commitment to the cause of joie de vivre, hedonism and quality!<\/p>\n

The first Esplendidos CSWC will be unveiled during the World Champion final in Split (Croatia) end of August 2019. The lucky World Champion will be the first to wear this unique model. The first 20 pieces of the Limited Edition with tobacco dial will also be available at the final for all participants and cigars enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

As partnerships go, the Cuervo y Sobrinos and Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) is a match made in heaven. Since 1882, Havana has been the spiritual home of Cuervo y Sobrinos. The Cuban capital is also synonymous with the manufacture of fine cigars. Indeed, the very mention of Havana evokes thoughts of glamour, style and luxury.<\/p>\n

The relationship started in 2015 when Cuervo y Sobrinos was named the official timekeeper at the CSWC, a prestigious event held at select locations around the world from the Amalfi Coast to St. Petersburg and from New York to Paris. It is now in its 10th<\/sup> year bringing together cigar club presidents, dignitaries, manufacturers and other brands who want to associate their names to this prestigious international event. S.T. Dupont, Havana Club, Cigar Journal and others are among the participants. The Cigar Smoking World Championship plays host to both male and female contestants from around the globe who share a common love for fine cigars. The unique event created by cigar expert Marko Bilic is celebrating the 10th<\/sup> anniversary this year.<\/p>\n
