Cohiba is to unveil the second edition of Spectre: Cohiba Spectre, a small batch with 180 boxes.<\/p>\n
The wrapper is deeply fermented, hand selected Nicaraguan Jalapa. During the curing process, a small percentage of upper-priming leaves were set aside for deeper aging. These leaves underwent additional fermentation lasting six months, during which time the tobacco became more elegant.<\/p>\n
Each leaf has been aged between four and sixteen years. The Nicaraguan Jalapa and Esteli filler leaves underwent a special finishing in Spanish Sherry barrels. When paired with Brazilian Mata Fina filler leaves and a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, the experience is one of complexity and refinement.<\/p>\n
To maximize the nuances of the tobaccos contained within, Cohiba Spectre has been made solely in a 6\u201d x 49 vitola. The cigars are presented in a circular red and silver box, in which ten cigars are housed.
