Upon entering, the large glazed garage door offers a breathtaking view of Crescent Street, one of the city’s most festive streets and the magnificent mural dedicated to Leonard Cohen, an icon of the Montreal music scene.

With about 80 seats inside, Stogies is the largest lounge in Montreal. Unfortunately, since last year, smoking outside is prohibited thus depriving the cigar enthusiast of enjoying cigars on the beautiful corner terrace.

What makes Stogies attractive is, without a doubt, the atmosphere and the service offered by the well-trained personnel. For the regulars, entering Stogies is like coming home, the staff is friendly and always happy to offer outstanding service.

Open every day from 2 pm, the atmosphere varies according to the time of day; afternoons are the perfect time to relax, read or even hold a business meeting. In the evening, jazz music gives way to a more rhythmic sound and an atmosphere better fitted for the happy hour or to party with friends.

At Stogies, the cigar enthusiast can enjoy the glazed humidor which offers more than 20 brands and no less than 1500 ready-to-smoke cigars, including Cubans.

In addition to their cigar selection, the full bar service offers a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. From draft beer to champagne and martinis, cigar enthusiasts will find something for every palate.

Photo: Lambert Gosselin

Stogies Cigar Lounge Montreal

2015 Crescent Street, Montréal, QC H3G 2C1, Canada
Offers cigars: Yes
Offers alcoholic beverages: Yes
Offers food: No
Seating: 80
Smoking indoors/outdoors: Indoors

Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, Stogies as the regulars call it, is the best place to take time for yourself.
