A sneak preview was provided to Cigar Journal at the InterTabac Trade Show in Dortmund.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cigar is an homage to our Casa Favilli factory,\u201d said Sgroi. \u201cIt is our third line of Nicaraguan puros; I\u2019m very proud of this. Mombacho is now recognized as the only brand with several lines which are all puros.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Casa Favilli features Broadleaf seed from Jalapa, Nicaragua &#8211; the first time a Nicaraguan broadleaf will be used in the industry according to Sgroi. Claudio admits he was initially looking to produce a maduro cigar, but it was too hard to find a Nicaraguan maduro he liked. \u201cThe sweetness from Jalapa gives a well-rounded taste to this cigar,\u201d said Sgroi. The blend also includes binder from Condega and filler from Jalapa, Condega, and Esteli.<\/p>\n<p>Casa Favilli is a regular production cigar and will be available in a Robusto (5&#215;50), Toro (6&#215;52) and Torpedo (5 \u00bd x52).
