From June 8 to 10, surrounded by the splendid landscape of Lake Lugano, the twelfth edition of the AmiCigar L\u2019Elegante was held, in collaboration with Alain Proietto and Sofia Belfasto of La Casa del Habano in Lugano \u2013 Cigar Must<\/p>\n
On Friday 8, after a light lunch at La Casa del Habano, a boat trip was taken to appreciate the wonderful lake of Lugano. Guests were greeted with a Havana Club rum cocktail and an HDM Epicure No. 1.<\/p>\n
In the evening at the Lido restaurant, after an H. Upmann Connoisseur No. 1, accompanied by a rich aperitif, and after having enjoyed an excellent dinner, we were delighted with an H. Upmann No. 2, paired perfectly with a great rum, the Havana Club 15 A\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
On Saturday 9, at the Seven restaurant, an interesting vintage smoke took place. The protagonists were the 1998 H. Upmann Monarcas in tubos, combined with A. Berg\u00e8re Champagne. Each participant received a commemorative ashtray, a copy of the new Cigar Journal, a Boveda envelope, a Cigar Must cutter and lighter, and a Xikar car ashtray. This year, Roberto Rodr\u00edguez Pardal of Cigarros Manrique was nominated as Hombre de AmiCigar. At the gala dinner, 110 participants enjoyed excellent dishes, paired with great cigars.<\/p>\n
A raffle then followed, with high-value prizes offered by the sponsors Cuervo y Sobrinos, Cigar Must, Intertabak AG, HS Informatica, Henk, Boveda, Montegrappa Italy, Siglo, FreeShop Perfumes & Cosmetics, Havana Club, and I-Replace.
