Rocky Patel Premium Cigars (RPPC) has collaborated with Alliance Cigar to add a new size to Alliance\u2019s acclaimed DeSocio series. A corona gorda vitola will be available in RPPC\u2019s renowned Sun Grown Maduro brand and will measure 5 \u00be x 46. The new addition called Sun Grown Maduro DeSocio will hit the market in May, sold exclusively through Alliance Cigar.<\/p>\n
Tom Sullivan, president and owner of Alliance Cigar, said, „We are honored and proud of our 15-plus year friendship and working relationship with Rocky and Nish Patel. This addition to our DeSocio Series is a result of our friendship and passion for the small craft artistry of our industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sullivan collaborated directly with Nish Patel, executive vice president at RPPC, on the new Sun Grown Maduro DeSocio. \u201cTommy has been a longtime friend and business partner,\u201d he said. \u201cThe decision to work together on an extension to his DeSocio brand via the Sun Grown Maduro brand was a no-brainer.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Sun Grown Maduro DeSocio features a balance of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos enveloped beneath a lush Connecticut broadleaf wrapper.<\/p>\n

The DeSocio series was created by Sullivan as a homage to his cigar loving maternal grandfather. The Sun Grown Maduro DeSocio becomes the eighth installment in the series and will be available to all of Alliance\u2019s preferred vendors.<\/p>\n
