{"id":18948,"date":"2018-03-07T17:53:17","date_gmt":"2018-03-07T16:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=18948\/"},"modified":"2018-03-07T17:54:03","modified_gmt":"2018-03-07T16:54:03","slug":"davidoffs-chefs-edition-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/davidoffs-chefs-edition-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Davidoff\u2019s Chefs Edition 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday February 24<sup>th<\/sup>, the day after Pro Cigar, Davidoff took a small group of media out to the company\u2019s farm for a special brunch and for the world premier of what will be Davidoff\u2019s Chefs Edition 2018.&nbsp; Very little was told about the cigar itself but those invited were able to smoke one.<\/p>\n<p>The previous chefs edition was released in 2016 and quickly sold out.&nbsp; To help commemorate Davidoff\u2019s 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, a second chefs edition was a natural considering the company\u2019s long history of collaborating with gastronomy.<\/p>\n<p>This new edition spans the globe not only with chefs from Europe, but this time adding Michelin 3-star chefs Alvin Leung from Hong Kong and Thomas Keller from the United States and &nbsp;Michelin 1 star chef Shaun Rankin from the United Kingdom who were on hand for the sampling.
