The cigars are dressed in oversized bands displaying three tokens that call to each brand\u2019s logo, as well as giving a nod to the cigar\u2019s inspired namesake.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18049\" style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18049\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18049\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/montecristo-ciudad-de-musica-box.jpg\" alt=\"Montecristo Ciudad de M\u00fasica\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-18049\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Altadis USA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Ciudad de M\u00fasica \u2013 \u201cThe Music City\u201d in English \u2013 was spurred by the lively spirit of Nashville, Tennessee, the soulful and storied city tied to both the exuberant roots of the Crowned Heads brand and a longstanding connection to some of the most prominent musicians to ever perform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMontecristo Ciudad de M\u00fasica is a benchmark of two very distinct cultures,\u201d says Altadis U.S.A. VP of Sales, Brad Winstead. \u201cThis extraordinary premium release profoundly captures the committed expressionism of the Crowned Heads brand, while displaying the elegance and delicacy of a Montecristo cigar. We\u2019re pleased this exquisite blend is the first offering in what we hope will be a lengthy and successful partnership \u2013 for both our labels and adult cigar enthusiasts as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe challenge for us,\u201d says Crowned Heads\u2019 co-founder, Jon Huber, \u201cwas in taking such an iconic brand as Montecristo and putting our fingerprints on it all the while respecting the tradition and legacy that\u2019s existed in the Montecristo brand since 1935.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crowned Heads\u2019 co-founder Mike Conder adds his take on the challenge. \u201cCiudad de Musica is really our somewhat new-world homage to the old-world eminence of the Montecristo brand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Montecristo Ciudad de M\u00fasica\u2019s current production will consist of 100,000 premium cigars in four vitolas: Robusto, Sublime, Corona Gorda and Piramide, the latter of which will be exclusively sold at all domestic Casa de Montecristo cigar lounge locations.
