Dominion owner Steve Ricker, started working on this project in early 2016 at Ernesto Carrillo’s factory in the Dominican Republic, Tabacalera Alianza. After several months of tweaking the blend, the outcome is described as a smooth medium bodied cigar, featuring tobaccos from Ecuador and Nicaragua. Steve used a Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, jalapa binder and all fillers are from Nicaraugua.

Full production of the Classic was completed June 0f 2016, so all US production had over a year of box rest before launch. The Classic is available in two vitolas, a 5 x 52 Robusto and a 6 x 50 Toro. The new line is expected to be available in the US early August.

For the Classic launch, Dominion has put together some limited edition checkers sets, and will be giving them away with all purchases of the Dominion Classic, while supplies last.

Dominion Classic

Origin: Dom.
