{"id":16388,"date":"2017-06-28T14:25:26","date_gmt":"2017-06-28T12:25:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=16388\/"},"modified":"2017-06-29T12:28:08","modified_gmt":"2017-06-29T10:28:08","slug":"dominion-cigar-celebrates-canadas-150th-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/dominion-cigar-celebrates-canadas-150th-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"Dominion Cigar\u00a0Celebrates Canada\u2019s 150th Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dominion Cigar is launching the Dominion&nbsp;Confederation, a limited edition release to celebrate Canada&#8217;s 150 years. \u201eI\u2019m beyond&nbsp;happy with the blend, which I did at Ernesto Carrlio&#8217;s&nbsp;factory in the Dominican Republic,\u201c says Steve Ricker of Dominion Cigar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eErnesto opened his&nbsp;factory doors last year, giving&nbsp;me the&nbsp;freedom to take advantage of everything his great facility had&nbsp;to&nbsp;offer.&nbsp;Most of the&nbsp;tobacco I used for this project was&nbsp;over four years of age prior to rolling, and&nbsp;out of&nbsp;Ernesto&#8217;s personal aged tobacco collection.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>The wrapper is a&nbsp;Connecticut broadleaf,&nbsp;binder Ecuadorian Sumatra and all the fillers are from&nbsp;Nicaragua. The result is a medium body smoke, with notes of&nbsp;roasted&nbsp;coffee and nut. The cigar is available in one&nbsp;vitola (6.5&nbsp;x 52 box-pressed) and comes in boxes of 10.
