Special launch events were planned for the opening of a new \u201cground-up\u201d Casa de Montecristo premium cigar lounge in Austin on June 16 and 17. The lounge located at 3801 N. Capitol of Texas Highway (Davenport Village area) is now open.<\/p>\n

Austin is the sixth Casa de Montecristo in Texas. The 3,800 sq. ft. store features a large walk-in humidor, stunning d\u00e9cor, various seating areas for more than 40 people, six televisions and a communal working table for adult premium cigar smokers to sit back, relax and enjoy their Montecristo cigars. The lounge will house more than 200 brands of premium cigars, including exclusive and hard to find selections.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Montecristo lounge is a perfect fit for Austin and its vibrant, cutting edge reputation for nightlife, music, business and more,\u201d says Steve Lochan, chief executive officer. Casa de Montecristo also has four cigar lounges in Houston (Casa de Montecristo by Serious Cigar) and one in Dallas.<\/p>\n

A decade in the making, the Casa de Montecristo program opened its first Casa de Montecristo location in 2008. The program includes company-owned stores and licensed-based partnerships with some of the top established premium cigar retailers in the country.<\/p>\n

The Casa de Montecristo moniker is awarded only to premium cigar stores and lounges that exemplify the luxury, quality and lifestyle that have been associated with the Montecristo brand.<\/p>\n
