John Alexander, owner of Melbourne-based Alexanders Cigars will host a cigar and cocktail event on Thursday 1 December. This will Alexanders\u2019 second cigar evening for the year and provides an opportunity for clients to acquaint themselves with each other, and of course enjoy cigars and cocktails in a relaxed environment.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am personally looking forward to creating a cigar community where people who appreciate the art of smoking can gather together, smoke fine cigars, and discuss their favourite topics in a friendly setting,\u201d said Alexander.<\/p>\n
The cigars to be featured include the Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco petit corona, Fuente Fuente Opus X, and Montecristo No. 2. Cigars for the evening were selected based on the fact they are from different regions, including Cuba, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. \u201cEach cigar is distinct and will present guests with a selection they might not have otherwise have opted for,\u201d notes Alexander. \u201cBroadening the variety outside of Cuba can educate their palates to flavoursome cigars from other regions.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI am very much looking forward to mingling with my customers, getting to know them in an intimate setting, whilst enjoying great food, discussing the merits of each cigar, why certain spirits pair up better than others, and of course receiving their feedback on each cigar,\u201d said Alexander.<\/p>\n
