Dominican cigar manufacturer La Aurora has released three novelties this year: La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Edition Double Barrel Aged, Preferidos Parejo and La Aurora 107 Cosecha 2006.<\/p>\n

La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Double Barrel Aged<\/h2>\n

The new La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Double Barrel Aged (above) features an Ecuador wrapper, a Brazilian binder and Dominican, Brazilian and Nicaraguan fillers with both filler and binder being aged in used rum barrels. This addition to the La Aurora Preferidos line comes as a 5 x 54 Figurado in the signature perfecto-shaped tube. The cigars are available in 8-count boxes with a retail price of USD 27.30 per cigar.<\/p>\n

La Aurora launches three new formats without tube in each of the 7 blends of the \u201cLa Aurora 1903 Edition\u201d line. The company started with the introduction of these formats in Black Diamond, Sapphire and Emerald. Not being offered in tubes, these formats have a lower retail price than the rest of the production.<\/p>\n

The new limited release 107 Cosecha 2006 utilizes tobacco leaves from the 2006 harvest. The production of this release is limited to 1,000 boxes of ten cigars for each size within the line.<\/p>\n
