Boutique cigar manufacturer Viva Republica introduced a new cigar line called Art of War, a larger sized parent brand to the company\u2019s Warfare Series.<\/p>\n
The Art of War, handmade at La Aurora, along with all of the company\u2019s releases, will be featured in four sizes: Robusto (5\u201d x 50, $8.50), Corona Gorda (6\u201d x 47, $9.50), Toro (5.5\u201d x 54, $10.50) and Gran Toro (6\u201d x 58, $11.50).<\/p>\n
Enveloped with Stalk-Cut Connecticut Broadleaf over a binder of Ecuadorian Sumatra, and filled with various priming\u2019s from Colombia, Dominican Republic and Nicaraguan. Finishing off the construction, the head cap is adorned with a pigtail and the foot covered in Dominican Candela.<\/p>\n
The line is named after the military strategy book by Sun Tzu, The Art of War. \u201cWe have always had an issue with extrapolating the Guerrilla and Advanced blends to larger ring gauge vitolas,\u201d said Jason Holly, owner of Viva Republica. \u201cThis is not the same blend, but keeps the with spirit and profile of the smaller vitola Warfare.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
