{"id":11263,"date":"2016-05-02T15:45:37","date_gmt":"2016-05-02T13:45:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=11263"},"modified":"2016-05-02T15:45:37","modified_gmt":"2016-05-02T13:45:37","slug":"new-viva-republica-brand-ivy-introduced-to-u-s-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/new-viva-republica-brand-ivy-introduced-to-u-s-market\/","title":{"rendered":"New Viva Republica Brand Ivy Introduced to U.S. Market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jason Holly, owner of Viva Republica introduced \u201cIvy\u201d at an exclusive event at Casa de Montecristo in Countryside, IL last Thursday, April 28th, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The first batch of &#8222;Ivy&#8220; comes in three sizes and features an Ecuadorian Habano Corojo wrapper, a double binder with tobaccos from Cameroon and the Dominican Republic as well as\u00a0 filler leaves from the Dominican Republic\u2019s Cibao Valley and Nicaragua\u2019s Esteli\u0301 and Condega regions.<\/p>\n<p>Three initial sizes are being launched: Lamont (Corona &#8211; 5.25 x 43, $12 MSRP), Dudley (Robusto &#8211; 5\u201d x 50, $13.25 MSRP) and Porcellian (Double Corona &#8211; 7.5\u201d x 50, $14.50 MSRP).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have some other sizes already produced and aging,\u201d Holly said, \u201cThey will start shipping by the end of July.\u201d All tobaccos used in the Ivy Habano blend have been aged a minimum of five years.
