{"id":10829,"date":"2016-03-08T12:10:03","date_gmt":"2016-03-08T11:10:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=10829"},"modified":"2016-03-09T14:27:18","modified_gmt":"2016-03-09T13:27:18","slug":"commemorative-cigar-released-by-joya-de-nicaragua","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/commemorative-cigar-released-by-joya-de-nicaragua\/","title":{"rendered":"Commemorative Cigar Released by Joya de Nicaragua"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year\u2019s Ilja series commemorative cigar has been made by Joya De Nicaragua.<\/p>\n<p>The 7x 52 stick is a unique size for JdN and has been specially created to honour the memory of Ilja van Horssen, brother of New World cigar fanatic, Sasja van Horssen.<\/p>\n<p>The van Horssen family owns The Longfiller Company in Holland and runs several cigar specialists in the country. Sasja van Horssen is the man behind ambitious plans to open \u2018Cigaragua\u2019 megastore in Amsterdam \u2013 dedicated solely to handrolled sticks from Nicaragua.<\/p>\n<p>Sasja\u2019s brother, Ilja, died in 2006 aged just 36 and last year\u2019s release in his memory was an A-sized cigars from My Father Cigars (9 \u00bc ins x 47 Ring Gauge).
