Tobacco distributor Plasencia 1865, headquartered in Miami, Fla., has promoted José Luis Plasencia to vice president. In his new role, José Luis Plasencia will oversee the entire distribution process and business operations for the company and will support sales representatives around the country.
Néstor Andrés Plasencia’s passion for sustainable farming took hold while he was studying agriculture. In 2002, the first completely organically grown cigar was born, the Reserva Orgánica.
The 90 visitors this evening were treated to an Alma Fuerte, a cigar made of 100 percent Nicaraguan tobacco, paired up with two glasses of Glenfiddich, the 14 Year Bourbon Barrel and the 15 Year Solera.
