In 2011, Diadema S.p.a. convinced Habanos S.A. to bring back to life an old and Cuban prestigious brand that had been discontinued for more than twenty years: “La Escepción”.
The name “Don José” was chosen in 2015 for the second cigar of this “serie” as a tribute to the creator of the brand, launched in a classic vitola (Hermosos No.4, 48 / 127 mm) and limited to 4,000 boxes with 25 cigars each.
After 6 years of perfect aging, Diadema S.p.A. is pleased to present this exceptional humidor, officially approved by Habanos S.A., containing 200 aged cigars.
The serial number of each original box has been engraved on its corresponding drawer. Only 22 numbered humidors will be produced in Italy by DeArt to commemorate the 22 years that have passed since the official end of production in 1989 and they will be available only in the italian “La Casa del Habano”.
